Around the world of tastes: Galerija Centrs’ wildly popular BURZMA welcomes new Vietnamese destination
Galerija Centrs’ BURZMA welcomes BO: the authentic Vietnamese restaurant is the latest addition to the food hall, already one of the top destinations for the gourmet lovers in Riga.
“BURZMA, offering a variety of cuisines under one roof with the panoramic view of Riga, is one of our most successful concepts in Galerija Centrs. Yet with BO, we still take it a step further, perfecting our selection of tastes – we know that our customers are already excited about this unique Vietnamese restaurant,” says Lāsma Vilande, manager of Galerija Centrs shopping center.
In its more than 1,500 square meters of space, BURZMA brings together 11 cafés, restaurants, and bars, offering everything from oven-baked pizzas to traditional Latvian meatballs, Mexican, Georgian and Asian cuisine, sushi, as well as extraordinary cocktails.
The development of BURZMA was one of the key components of the new strategy by Baltic Horizon Fund, the owners of Galerija Centrs shopping center. After acquiring the historic shopping mall, the Fund made 2 mln. euro of investments and hired Newsec as the property manager.
“Since Newsec started operating Galerija Centrs in the beginning of this year, we have been dedicated to transforming this unique location to reveal its full potential. Now with BURZMA’s unprecedented popularity, we see the strategy working – roughly every third citizen of Riga has visited BURZMA since the beginning of the year. Lāsma Vilande and the entire Newsec team will continue the work, making sure that every square meter in Galerija Centrs meets the strategy. Regarding it, we will have some more exciting news very soon, so stay tuned,” says Rida Kalvaitienė, Head of Newsec Property Asset Management in the Baltics.
BURZMA will continue to see improvements in its premises and brand this year, further strengthening the brand and the concept.
More transformations in other spaces of Galeria Centrs are also on their way. By the end of the year, the latest concept MyFitness sports club will open on the fifth and sixth floors, and in autumn, a new entertainment concept is expected to debut on the fourth floor of the shopping center.
