Celebrating the 30th anniversary of RIGA FASHION WEEK, the most significant Latvian fashion events since regaining of the independence are summarized in a retrospective photo exhibition, and invites everyone to discover the period that has not been much looked at. Exhibition is open from May17-29 on Ridzenes Street.

Attempts to reflect fashion trends behind “Iron Curtain” for many decades were carried out by “Rīgas Modeļu nams” and magazine “Rīgas Modes”. After the restoration of independence, a number of significant, wide-ranging events took place, but in 2004 the Baltic Fashion Federation renewed tradition of organizing regular seasonal fashion shows by launching RIGA FASHION WEEK. It continues to build and strengthen Riga as the fashion capital in the Baltic Sea region.
